Detailed release notes and other changes

These tags can help you find changes that are relevant to your user type:

• Users - Changes that are visible and will affect users 
• Site admin - Changes that affect the configuration of sites
• System admin - Changes that affect the configuration of the system
• Integration - Changes to the system due to an integration with another Thomson Reuters product that you may have to pay for
• On request - Beta features that have to be switched on or enabled by our support team

June Release

Internal version number 5.7

Publisher

• Site and System administrators can now archive a domain linked to an organisation from Publisher ^{SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN}
• We have introduced a new filter to enable administrators to exclude system and content administrators from auditing results, to ensure more accurate data is reported ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• User reports can now be downloaded in XLSX format ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• We have introduced the ability to re-order system and email preferences, allowing users to reduce errors when setting up their preferences by defining the importance of metadata, e.g. topics and countries ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

• We have introduced default time zones for events. Enabling users to set a default time zone for their event that is not GMT ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• We have removed character limits for meta titles and descriptions to improve our SEO for public facing content ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• You can now display your time zone within your event ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• Users can now search via Last Name, First Name, when searching for other users within the people directory ^USERS
• External platform users are now able to review pre-published publications in the same format end users will view the content ^USERS

• You can now use pagination in the Features panel (Title and medium thumbnail), to manage how you display the information ^USERS
• We have added canonical tags into channels, modules and pages, in order to enhance SEO ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• As part of our 5.7 release, we included a security update for Publisher. If you embed videos externally to Publisher, please contact HighQ support to change a background setting required for continued use for embedded videos ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

AI Hub

• We will no longer support new integrations with the Leverton AI service ^{SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN}

Contract Express

• System administrators will now be able to delegate the management of Contract Express system groups to other, internal users ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• You may select multiple records to bulk generate documents from iSheets ^{SITE ADMIN}

eSignature

• We have introduced eSignature tracking, giving users working on a transaction the ability to track the signing status for each document, that is part of the transaction ^{USERS SITE ADMIN}

Files

• It is now possible to view file metadata iSheet, attachment iSheet and Contract Express metadata in the File viewer ^{SITE ADMIN}
• We have introduced more granular file permissions, allowing you to be more strict with which users get specific permissions when uploading and downloading documents ^USERS
• The actions in files attached to iSheets now replicate the actions available to files in folders, within the Files module ^USERS

Data Visualisation

• You can now select eSignature as your source type when adding a File panel ^{SITE ADMIN}
• SmartFolders will now appear in the list of available folder options when adding a Collaborate File panel in Publisher ^{SITE ADMIN}

Workflow

• We will now show email recipients when a user runs the workflow audit ^{SITE ADMIN}
• You can select file status updates as a trigger ^{SITE ADMIN}
• You can include column data from the intake iSheet in the approval process ^{SITE ADMIN}
• The Update attachment file metadata action copies intake iSheet or Contract Express Output iSheet metadata to file  metadata iSheets for reference, search and visualisation across the site ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}
• We have introduced a new setting which enables users to immediately switch workflows on or off within a site. This is a performance and fail safe feature. Workflow rules may need to be switched off because they're either degrading the performance of a site, a large scale bulk action is being performed and rules need to be switched off during the period of bulk update, or the outcomes of the rule action are not performing as expected ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

iSheets

• You can now create an iSheet from an excel file ^{SITE ADMIN}

Users

• You can now bulk add basic users to the system, and also bulk change user roles from internal to basic and vice versa ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

Search

• Users can now expose and execute files actions directly from the search results page ^USERS

Tasks

• When importing from Excel, assignee email is no longer case sensitive ^{SITE ADMIN SYSTEM ADMIN}
• You may now select multiple tasks to assign, delete and update status in one action ^{SITE ADMIN}

Apps

• HighQ Drive and the HighQ Teams app now identify if a file is a duplicate before uploading a copy ^USERS
• HighQ Office, HighQ Drive and HighQ Stream (mobile and macOS) can now share a file from any HighQ site, no longer limited to My Files ^USERS

OCR - Languages

We have added support for the following languages:

• Dutch 
• German 
• French
• Spanish
• Portuguese (Standard & Brazilian)
• Italian
• Chinese (Simplified & Traditional)
• Japanese
• Arabic
• Danish
• Norwegian
• Swedish
• Finnish

Performance improvements

• The files index export performance has been improved by 7 times, for 250k+ documents
• When permanently deleting documents from the Files recycle bin, it now takes seconds, rather than minutes
• The IE supported java applet upload manager has been deprecated
• We have added ability to re-trigger date based workflow when restarting services to improve the reliability of workflow
• We have made a code improvement to reduce database blockages of document download audit transactions
• Our files performance has been improved for retrieving all folder and documents that are in received items by up to 98%

In-app guides

We have introduced targetted in-app announcements and guides. These guides can introduce or help set up a new feature, or provide an announcement. Currently, these guides are displayed to system admins only. ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

Solution Templates

• You can now export a solution template, including out-of-the-box template mappings to folders, and question mappings to iSheet columns. You can then import that template into another instance, enabling you to create sites using the Solution Templates where mappings will already be configured for you ^{SITE ADMIN}

Please note HighQ Contract Analysis is no longer supported.

Tasks

• The Hierarchy view allows you to click and drag to change the order of tasks in a parent task ^USERS

Workflow

• You can calculate dates using weekly, monthly and yearly increments, set an action to remove dates from an iSheet and populate a single-line text column with a mixture of text and variables ^{SITE ADMIN}

Performance improvements

We have made a number of improvements in the areas of Files and Admin:

Site Admin

• Loading the site summary page is 50% faster

Files

• E-sign call-back stability has been enhanced

System Admin

• Notifications for the site template marketplace have been improved
• Performance while archiving users has improved by 70%

iSheet

• Quick search performance has improved by 90%

Users

• Retrieving users via API calls has been improved by 90%

System dashboards

• System Dashboards will allow system administrators to create tailored landing pages, so that different organisations or groups entering the platform see content that is applicable to them ^{SITE ADMIN}

Search

• You can now search and filter for matter and client numbers in Collaborate ^{USERS SITE ADMIN}

HighQ Contract Analysis [no longer available]

• When questions are imported from Contract Analysis, columns are now automatically assigned the most appropriate column type (Multi-line or Choice) ^{SITE ADMIN}

• When exporting a solution template and importing it to another HighQ instance, the Contract Analysis 'out-of-the-box' templates are now included in the template ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

Please note HighQ Contract Analysis is no longer supported.

Integrations

• You will now be able to sort matter maps by Name, Jurisdiction and Practice Area ^USERS

AI Hub

• You can now manually refresh the Kira processing status. This will automatically update the data within the iSheet, if the Kira document is set to 'Reviewed' within the first 14 days after the file is uploaded ^USERS

APIs

• We have improved the 'Require Task' API, which now supports multiple assignees; Users and Groups ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

Tasks

• System Administrators now have the ability to preview Task Templates within the System admin area ^{SYSTEM ADMIN}

Solution templates

• We have introduced the auto-deployment of solution templates. This means that clients wanting to use the best practice template for a specific type of solution can benefit from work already done by an expert within that specific field 

Performance improvements

We have made a number of improvements in the areas of Files, iSheet, Tasks, Events and Workflow.

Files

• File preview and File download performance has been improved by 16%
• Performance has been improved for Delete, Move and Restore Folder for sites with more than 20,000 files and folders content by 98%
• It is now quicker to pick a file from the file selector, for example when adding a file to an iSheets file link column and other places that use the file selector
• Improved performance when uploading/downloading files while making audits
• When permissions do not need to be checked, retrieving documents is now 65% faster
• Performance has been improved when retrieving document metadata
• For sites with over 250,000 files, we have reduced the time taken for file index export from nearly 20 minutes to under 3 minutes
• The speed of checking permission on files and folders has been improved

iSheet

• Retrieving iSheet Choice and Score columns is up to 97% quicker when there are a large number of choices
• Inserting or updating a draft item is quicker
• iSheet item data retrieval is quicker

Tasks

• Many functions are on average 70% quicker, such as loading long task lists, retrieving tasks with the Load More option, retrieving all completed tasks, and retrieving all tasks on dashboards

Workflow

• The way we process workflow requests has changed so that one client's processing will not impact other clients
• Workflow rule retrieval execution has been improved, with retrieval up to 48 hours
• Logging has been improved so that customer issues can be investigated more effectively

Events

• 75% improvement when retrieving all events.

As part of our new quarterly release schedule, we will continue our support for the following languages:

• English (UK)
• English (US)
• Dutch
• German
• French
• Spanish
• Japanese
• French Canadian
• Simplified Chinese
• Brazilian Portuguese
• Italian

But please note that these translations will be available around 2 weeks after the initial release, within a maintenance release and will be available to you then.
