The HighQ Appliance is an integrated application that can be installed on a virtual machine or server, either inside a firewall or in the DMZ.
HighQ Appliance now has an easy to use upgrade function. Please refer to the step by step guide below on how to upgrade the appliance, using the executable installer GUI.
This requires access to your server or DMZ and cannot be performed via the client web interface.

Check that the Apache Tomcat installer service is running.
Open the Windows Start menu > search for Services > look for Apache Tomcat 7 HighQAppliance installer OR HighQApplianceInstaller.
You can choose to make a manual database back up during this step; even if you do not make a back up at this stage, the application will automatically make a back up during the upgrade process.
Please wait for the system to complete these steps.
If any issues arise during the upgrade installation please contact HighQ support.
